1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Proline Rewrite (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
Proline Rewrite is an AI-powered text rewriting tool that helps users improve, rephrase, and humanize written content. The App uses third-party AI services to process text submitted by users.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Proline Rewrite only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and how you use the rewritten output. You agree NOT to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or institutional policies
- Submit content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
- Generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others
- Submit content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, or hateful
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App
Academic use disclaimer: If you use this App in an educational context, you are responsible for complying with your institution’s academic integrity policies. The App is designed as a writing improvement tool. Users should always follow their institution’s guidelines regarding AI-assisted work.
4. Subscriptions and payments
The App offers subscription plans managed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play’s terms of service for in-app purchases.
- Free trial: Some plans include a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial.
- Billing: After the trial, you will be charged the subscription fee automatically at the start of each billing period (weekly or annually).
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play per their refund policy.
- Grace periods: If a payment fails, a grace period may apply during which you retain access while Google retries payment.
5. AI-generated content disclaimer
The rewritten text produced by the App is generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality, we do not guarantee that the output will be:
- Free from errors, inaccuracies, or unintended changes in meaning
- Undetectable by any specific AI detection tool
- Suitable for any particular purpose without your review and editing
You should always review AI-generated output before using it. You are fully responsible for the final content you publish, submit, or share.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Iannucci Jacopo (Proline Web). You retain ownership of the text you input and the rewritten output you receive. We claim no rights over your content.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iannucci Jacopo (Proline Web) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: academic penalties, professional consequences, loss of data, or business interruption.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Service availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or third-party service outages (including the AI processing service). We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU consumer protection laws.
