Proline Web (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Proline Rewrite mobile application (the “App”). This policy explains
what data we collect, why, and your rights over it.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Text You Submit

When you use the rewrite feature, your text is transmitted to our backend proxy server (hosted on Cloudflare) and
forwarded to OpenAI’s API for processing. The rewritten text is returned to your device. Neither we nor OpenAI retain
this text after the request completes. OpenAI processes the text under their
https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies, which prohibits using API inputs to train their models.

2.2 Anonymous Device Identifier

We generate a random, anonymous identifier for your device (a UUID stored locally on your device) to enforce fair
daily usage limits. This identifier contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you. It is stored
in our usage tracking system (Cloudflare KV) alongside a daily usage count, and is automatically deleted after 2 days.

2.3 Crash and Error Reports

We use Sentry to collect crash reports when the App unexpectedly closes. These reports may include the device OS
version, app version, and a technical stack trace. They do not include your text, name, or any personally identifying
information.

2.4 Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymised usage analytics, such as which rewrite modes are used most and how users navigate
through the App. No text content is included in analytics events. Events are associated with an anonymous session
identifier, not a personal identity.

2.5 Subscription and Payment Information

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status
(active/inactive, subscription tier, renewal date) but never receive your payment card details, billing address, or
Google account information.

6. Data Retention

– Submitted text: Never stored. Discarded immediately after the API response is returned.
– Anonymous device usage counters: Automatically deleted after 2 days.
– Crash reports: Retained for 90 days in Sentry, then automatically deleted.
– Analytics events: Retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
– Subscription status: Retained for as long as your subscription is active, then for 30 days thereafter.

– Right to data portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
– Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
